Skin Problems are probably the most common problems that pet owners experience. Whether it is cat, dog or horse, the problems are usually the same.
My Doberman has had skin problems for years. It became bad enough that the skin under her neck looked and felt like leather. Many times she had puss filled pimples. We tried everything. Every time we went to a trade show, I spoke to another company that had a product that they said would take care of the problem. It was always "use this product, it has this oil" or "this ointment will take care of it". blah, blah, blah.
I always told them that I'd try it and if it worked, we would bring it in for our customers.
In September 2008, we attended SuperZoo in Las Vegas. There, we met Dr. Adelia Ritchie, an organic chemist and president of DERMagic Skin Care for Animals, Inc. Before starting any treatment, give your pet a good cleansing with a high quality, pH balanced, sulfate free shampoo. Wet your dog's coat and message the shampoo well. Rinse, and repeat if needed. Towel or blow dry. Repeat every week during treatment.
