Or, for other brands containing rice, soybean meal, soy flour, wheat flour, corn flour, rice flour and/or all the other grain like fillers listed as the top main ingredients. (Grains and/or ground up grains cannot hold a specific shape, thus kibbles are shaped by using adhesives, then sprayed with chicken fat to gain pet interest.

Or, for other brands containing Chicken Meal, Beef Meal, Fish Meal, Lamb Meal as main ingredients? These "meal" substance ingredients are all made from rendered, very low grade animal parts (production waste materials from meat packing plants)--they are not the nutrition rich, high quality, organ and muscle meats found abundantly in AFS products. AFS products do not include the above materials.
Rendered, "Meal" type ingredients are not the same as REAL MEAT!
But, when one reads pet food labels in a hurry, "Chicken Meal" looks like "Chicken Meat" (the word "meal" looks like the word "meat"); and the price on the label does not change the lack of value and/or benefit to the animal eating it! At the very best, meal-made substances can only serve as roughage ("roughage" defined: coarse bulky food that is relatively high in fiber and low in digestible nutrients and that by its bulk stimulates peristalsis).
FINICKY EATER? NOT ANY MORE! Hundreds upon hundreds of AFS customers have stated they were really hesitant to try yet another pet food, but when they saw the excitement and eagerness their pet(s) had when an AFS product was introduced, they were sold! Many were also quite relieved, as well, because their pet not only was eating again, but was quite noticeably healthier and more energetic after being on AFS. It is actually made for the local workers in Nepal. They work it in their mouth for hours while working in the fields. Himalayan Dog Chews come from an ancient recipe of the people of Nepal.
